"Welcome to Gardenia’s Gorgeous Greenhouse, where the grass is always greener!"

What’s Left Behind is a cosy Gardening Sim/RPG where you take the role of Gardenia, a young woman running a business from her cottage garden. Help her pick the right flowers to create concoctions that will ease the troubles of customers stopping by, and learn more about them in the process! 

This is a prototype for the game, in which you can play through one interaction with the first customer Gardenia helps, and maybe meet some nosy neighbours in the process…

A note from the Team
                                  

Hello! We are Frances and Anna, the makers of What’s Left Behind. Thank you for checking out our game!

This project was born in April 2024 over lunch in a Brighton cafe, when we both started talking about wanting to work in game development and design, despite neither of us having much experience in the actual production of a game yet. 

So, we decided to start working together and learn what it would take to make our own! We found Josei Jam perfect for our concept, so we decided to join and test our skills, finding out how much we could learn in just a few months. The result is short, but very exciting for us, and we are proud of what we achieved so far. What’s Left Behind has a long way to go, but we’ve come a long way since April, and can’t wait to see where it will take us!
